Reflection
I learned a lot about Germany through this exhibition. I learned about the innovations they have made and how the creations that have come from this region have inspired the future. I learned mainly about the gramophone and the first combustion engine powered vehicle. I thought that learning about these things was interesting and taught me that a lot of things are variations of other creations. The item I helped create was the gramophone. My partner who chose this item was Olivia T. who's DP is below. She chose this item because she enjoys listening to records and thought this item was interesting and thought that it would be a fun interactive item to display at our exhibition. I joined her because my item wouldn't have been finished in time. I'm glad that I was able to recreate this item and I am happy with how the final item came out. In preparation for exhibition we were assigned to make a prototype of whatever our final goal was. I found this process to be helpful to put into consideration what supplies we may need to create the final version. We were successful with this and were able to get a good idea of what it would take to make the final versions. At exhibition there were a few other countries thats advertisement stood out. One in particular was Switzerland. Although sadly I didn't have much time to wander Switzerland seemed like a very interesting place that had some cool inventions to show off. Considering the amount of time that we had for preparation I was pretty happy with the final outcome of exhibition. Our booth looked good and we were able to attract people to our countries area because of the posters, intriguing items and, some gummy bears. Personally I think that this exhibition wasn't very impressive. I think that if we had started the project sooner the other students and myself would have had more time to make more impressive things that were actually exhibition worthy. I think that with the limited time that we did have we did pretty good but there was a lot of room to improve in our group and others.
